Gold Plating

Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold on the surface of other metal, most often copper or silver, by chemical or electrochemical means. Gold plating is often used in electronics, to provide a corrosion-resistant electrically conductive layer on copper, typically in electrical connectors and printed circuit boards.  Our gold plating systems are portable and give us the ability to gold plate virtually any plastic and metallic surfaces with a bright mirror-like 24 karat gold finish.  The plating solutions that we utilize are specially formulated not to harm automotive paints or finishes; therefore we have the ability to gold plate surfaces such as automotive trim without prior removal from the automobile.  This convenience dramatically speeds up the gold plating process and helps to avoid damaging the end result.
